this is one of my absolute favorite romance series and i’m not even finished with the whole thing yet. I’m currently reading mp the long way home and am feeling all the feels

jessa’s writing is just soooo good. there are so many quotes from these books that crack my heart open. they are real and raw and personal to me and these characters because we both have been-there, done-that.

since the sun has came out to play (finally) in the pnw, i had to try to get some much needed color and catch up on some reading!

I just finished beach read and I was very… underwhelmed by it 😬 (sorry Em Hen fans! I just don’t think she’s it for me) so I decided to catch up with some familiar characters and start hothouse flower 🌼

I absolutely adore daisy and ryke (they’re my favs in the addicted/calloway sisters universe) so I’m SO excited to finally get to read their story!! I’m anticipating a 5 star read with this one!

ugh, magnolia parks 😫💗 what you did to my heart

i’ve said this time and time again… this book was just all too real for me in the most pure and heart-wrenching way possible.

it was SO good

but if you’re looking for a happily-ever-after, feel-good, lighthearted romance? this is NOT the book for you.

this relationship is chaotic and messy and vengeful and deep and toxic, but it’s real.

sometimes it was hard for me to read because i was relating too dang much to it. i’ve been in relationships like bj and magnolia… the highs are high and the lows are LOW.

and jessa’s writing?! omg. it’s almost like poetry. it’s absolutely beautiful. i have so many highlights.

i finished this book a couple weeks ago and I’m still thinking about it so much.

anyway, those are my thoughts.
